Minor Swing

"Minor Swing" is one of Django Reinhardt's most famous compositions, co-written with violinist Stéphane Grappelli. Recorded in 1940 with the Quintette du Hot Club de France, it became a cornerstone of the gypsy jazz genre. The piece is known for its distinctive minor key, catchy melody, and dynamic rhythm, blending elements of traditional gypsy music with swing and jazz. Its improvisational structure has made it a favorite among jazz musicians and an enduring classic in the jazz manouche repertoire.
