Limehouse Blues

"Limehouse Blues" is a jazz standard composed by Philip Braham and Douglas Furber in 1921, inspired by the Limehouse district in London's Chinatown. Django Reinhardt recorded a remarkable version of the song in 1935 with the Quintette du Hot Club de France, featuring Stéphane Grappelli on violin. Their rendition showcases Django's virtuosic guitar work and the distinctive gypsy jazz style, making it one of the standout performances of the piece.
